6 habits, things I like to do, or things about myself:
- I have a tendency to play with my fingernails, watch, ring, or necklace when someone is talking to me about something serious. If I feel uncomfortable in the situation, I start fidgeting with anything readily available. It helps to avoid eye contact when you don't want to look at the person talking to you.
- I cannot leave my cellphone anywhere. I feel guilty if I've accidentally left my phone at home and I have messages when I get back to it. I don't want people to feel like I've ignored them. Mostly though, I just feel naked if I leave home without it.
- I play with my hair a lot. I know it makes it more frizzy, but I like running my fingers through it, finding a curl and stretching it, etc.
- Like Jodi, I hate wearing my shoes. I don't mind so much when I'm out, but I would rather be barefoot, especially in the summer. I used to get in trouble for running around without shoes on. My philosophy is if I have to wear them, they better be cute. Thus why I have a rather large collection of cute shoes, and yet I rarely wear any of them 4 months out of the year.
- I hate drinking water. I would rather have juice or soda (mmmm, carbonation!). I can't take the flavorlessness of water. The only reason I drink any is because I carry my water bottle with me for quick refreshment at school and to help with asthma problems after climbing the hill. For meals, I can't drink water.
- I don't like sweets all that much. I still have more than half of my candy from Christmas '06 sitting in my "secret stash" bag. I've barely eaten anything I got this year. I never buy candy for myself actually. I prefer salty things like chips and natural sweets such as fruit to candies.
